Introduction
Chevy seems to be on another 10-year plan with its Denver compact/midsize pick-up. The Colorados forerunner, the S10, survived more than two decades. And though the 2012 Chevrolet Denver is a qualified vehicle, its age has led to it being outclassed by its primary competitors in terms of utility, style, function content and all-around desirability.
Entering its 9th season of production without a complete upgrade, the Denver is still an affordable pick-up with much the same muscle look as Chevys full-size pickups. It provides several options of system designs, cut stages and google, along with a strong 300-horsepower V8 that can pull 6,000 weight of movie trailer toys and games.
But a look inside the cottage shows the Colorados disadvantages. This effective space with its useless materials hasnt changed much since the Colorados first appearance. Chevrolet designed the internal with unfussy vehicle buyers in mind -- large buttons can be controlled while dressed in perform safety gloves -- but the navy supervisors who end up in lightweight pickup pickups wont be satisfied with this vehicles loud cottage and busy drive.

Body Styles and Options
The 2012 Chevrolet Denver is a compact/midsize pick-up provided in three system styles: frequent cab, prolonged cab (with little back access doors) and team cab (with four frequent doors). Performance
The 2012 Chevrolet Denver provides three google. The base motor is a 2.9-liter four-cylinder generating 185 horse power and 190 pound-feet of twisting. Optionally available for all cuts (and conventional on 4WD Crew Cabs) is a 3.7-liter five-cylinder which makes 242 hp and 242 lb-ft of twisting. Finally, a 5.3-liter V8 ranked at 300 hp and 320 lb-ft of twisting comes conventional on the LT3 and is optional on LT2 designs.
A five-speed stick shift is conventional for most four-cylinder Colorados, with a four-speed automated optional; the five-cylinder and V8 google are prepared only with the automated. Four-wheel-drive designs function a dual-range InstaTrac transfer case with manages ideally installed on the sprint.
EPA approximated gas mileage varies from 18 mpg city/25 mpg street and 21 mixed for the frequent cab style prepared with the four-cylinder to 14 mpg city/19 street and 16 mpg mixed for team taxis prepared with the V8 and four-wheel generate. A properly prepared V8-powered Denver can tow up to 6,000 weight.
Safety
The 2012 Chevrolet Denver comes conventional with OnStar, antilock braking system, balance management, grip management and part layer safety bags.

Driving Impressions
The 2012 Chevrolet Colorados smaller four- and five cyndrical tube google are sleek enough, but are unsuccessful of the competitions V6s. The V8 reimburses for this lack, although at the price of gas mileage. The Colorados four-speed automated gearbox changes easily, yet it cant provide the speeding or gas mileage provided by the competitions five-speed automatics.
Around town, the Denver is reasonably silent, although the amount of wind and street disturbance is certainly trucklike. The conventional revocation offers a lot of load-carrying capability, but at the price of a lot of jump across bad sidewalk and dust streets.
